A delightful Welsh spinning chair in an ebonised finish with pokerwork to the centre of the seat and the back support. The pokerwork is surrounded in both instances with decorative art nouveau detailing and irises. This decoration is somewhat worn on the seat due to decades of use.
Marked L & Co to the rear of the seat. Attributed to Liberty, but I cannot find any examples elsewhere so I am unsure of this provenance. As such, priced accordingly.
