A wonderful example in brilliant condition and with lovely patina.  This chair features a shaped scroll-crested top rail above the the uprights, and two plain back panels framed by moulding to the rear.  Either side are silhouette cut plank arms resting upon baluster turned posts leading down to a double planked seat.  FInished on baluster turned legs united by peripheral stretchers.
 
A fine example of this classic piece of English furniture design.
