A stunning George IV Mahogany Serpentine Front Chest of Drawers with a one-piece top and three long drawers,
The serpentine top has a beautifully cross banded border with boxwood stringing. Below this the drawer fronts display 'Plum-pudding' markings and feature cross-banded borders edged in fine strings of ebony & boxwood and also have additional cock-beading to the edges. Furthermore the drawers are fitted with brass lined keyholes and oval ring handles on brass plate plates embossed with classical urns. Finished on outswept bracket feet.
Overall condition is excellent with light signs of age related wear & tear.
A delightful piece of late Georgian furniture.
