An extraordinary example of a late 18thC mahogany Pembroke table, after Chippendale, in simply exceptional condition. One of the finest examples I have seen of it's type.Having a beautiful deep rich patina to the piecrust top and a moulded serpentine edge with matching serpentine wings. Below this is a bow fronted carcass with a single frieze drawer finished with a pair of brass pull handles. Completed with pierced fret brackets, channelled square legs and a wonderfully carved X frame stretcher all in the distinctive Chippendale style.
