A large and beautifully decorated art pottery stoneware jug, with a classically pinched spout.
 
Decorated with berries and leaves, in a copper lustre, around the body and inscribed 'Ne quid nimis' (nothing in excess) toward the bottom.  
 
Signed N.H.Y under the handle.
 
Overall condition is very good with no chips or cracks to the body.  Historical repair to the handle which is now sound but was obviously cracked in three places.  Please see images for assessment of condition. 
 
As such, priced accordingly.
