A rare 19th century (circa 1831 - 1859) framed lithographic print depicting a view of Bristol from a hillside, with a couple and two children conversing on a path in foreground at left, and three goats seen nearby at centre. below is a coat of arms at the centre of the inscription space.
After a drawing by S C Jones from a painting by W Müller;
The decoratively carved oak frame is in very good condition with some light age related wear and the print itself is in good order, still retaining vivid colouring due to being hung out of direct sunlight for a number of years. Some historic staining and glue residue to the outer edges and a small tear to the lower right hand edge. Please see images for details.
A black and white version of this print exists within the British Museum's archive. See link below.
