A stunning 19th century mahogany wash basin stand.  Fitted with a Brown Westhead Moore & Co 'Canova' pattern wash basin with three soap wells, draining into a large matching two handled pail.   The stand features turned supports on a triform base and is finished with ceramic castors.
 
Overall condition is excellent.  The basin and pail have no damage  and both have clean bright colours.  The washstand is also in fantastic order.  Some age related wear to the base underneath the pail, and some evidence of historic worm on a small area toward the top of the top rim which we have treated once again as a precautionary measure (see images).  Aside from this, a remarkable piece of victorian furniture design in extraorindaily well presented order.
