A wonderful early 19th century Mahogany kettle stand.  After Chippendale and very much in the Chinese Chippnedale style.
The square top features a serpentine carved gallery rail above gadrooned edging, raised on four slender triple column supports united by a twin column X-form stretcher and terminating on carved feet.
 
Overall condition is excellent.  Some historic repairs to the gallery, but nothing that detracts from this delightfully delicate example of 19th century furniture design.
