A beautiful piece of country house furniture this table is in very good condition for it's age, dating from around 1740 / 1760.  
With a solid walnut top and drop leaves that have all developed a lovely warm patination over the centuries and are finished with a moulded edge.  Both leaves are in working order as is the gateleg mechanism which is also still solid and working perfectly.  Finished on slender turned legs with pad feet.  
Some evidence of historic repairs as you would expect but overall this stunning piece has many, many years of use left in it.
